PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Woodbridge Township Fire District No. 4 has introduced the District’s proposed 2024 Budget. A public hearing of the 2024 Fire District Budget will be held on December 26, 2023, at the Fire House located at 420 Smith Street, Keasbey, New Jersey 08832, at 7:00 PM. A copy of the budget is available to each person requesting it during the week preceding such public hearing on the budget, at the Fire House, or at the office of the Woodbridge Township Municipal Clerk, Main Street, Woodbridge, New Jersey, 07095 from the hours of 9:00 A.M.-4:30 P.M. Monday to Friday. At the said public hearing, taxpayers of Fire District No.4, and all persons interested in the budget shall have an opportunity to be heard, or to present objections or comments. At the close of the hearing, the Fire Commissioners may adopt the budget with or without amendments. The adopted budget will then be advertised after adoption and shall be voted upon at the annual election of Fire Commissioners, to be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024.

Notice is hereby given to the legal voters of Fire District No. 4 that on Saturday, February 17, 2024 an election will be held between the hours of 2:00 PM and 9:00 PM prevailing time. Said election is for the following purposes: 1. The election of two (2) Fire Commissioners for the full three (3) year term. 2. The election of two (2) Fire Commissioners for a one-year unexpired term. 2. To vote on appropriations for General Fire Purposes for the Fiscal year January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. 3. And such matters as may be required. Petitions for nominations to the Board are available at the Fire House, or with the Municipal Clerk of Woodbridge Township, and must be filed with the Clerk of the Board of Fire Commissioners, at the said Fire House, at least 28 days before the said date of election no later than January 19, 2024.
